Intermediate awards & Diploma in Credit & Collections (Level 3)

The ten awards at Intermediate level give you advanced knowledge about broad areas of credit and collections, and allow you to tailor your qualification to your specialism.

Pass four awards including at least one mandatory award (maximum 2) for the Intermediate Diploma in Credit and Collections. Level 3 passes required.

Include only ONE of Credit Management (Trade, Export, Consumer), Trade Credit Management, Export Credit Management, or Consumer Credit Management from the mandatory section. See syllabus for full details.

Exemptions

If you already have business related qualifications at an equivalent or higher level, you can apply for an exemption or credit recognition.

Progression

The next step is to complete the Advanced Diploma in Credit & Collections Management when you can use the letters MCICM(Grad) after your name (if your membership is current). We recommend if you ultimately wish to progress to take the Advanced Diploma you should aim to pass or be exempt from the following awards at Intermediate level: Credit Management, Business Environment, Business Law and Accounting Principles.
